Back at it again.....
I'm back in the blogging scene again! I guess after WSC I really feel back in the AIESEC swing of things and I thought my next step should be to start with a blog again. Like so many others have done post-conference, I am contemplating what to do next with my life. Of course the next year will be committed to this wonderful organization and even the semester after that, but then what....then it's time to get out into the real world and get a job! Scary! But wait, I can't get too far ahead of myself. There is still this summer to think about and the fact that I need to secure an internship if I want to even have a chance of getting a job after graduation. I would really like to do an AIESEC traineeship, but I am currently quite short on funds due to spending the majority of my money in Australia last spring. Oh well, it was definitely worth it. So back to the internship issue...since a traineeship is kind of out of the question right now, I must get an internship somewhere here in the U.S. I think I would prefer something in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area or even in Milwaukee or Madison. Does anyone have any good suggestions in these areas or anywhere else?
Now, speaking of Australia...I miss it so much! I had so many good times there with my roommates and a ton of other people. I also miss the weather, especially on days like today when it is -26 degree with windchill here in Eau Claire! I guess it's time to get out my pictures and use my imagination to be back there again, at least for a little while.
