Finally a nomad...

I actually started this blog a month ago, but forgot the important step of emailing Dody with my information. So now I have finally become a nomad. Things have definately settled down now with member and SN recruitment and ROKS out of the way. Speaking of ROKS, I have to say that this was probably my favorite out of all of the ones I've been to. It was great getting to see the new members become really excited about the work that AIESEC does. I also have to say that no matter how many times I see the powerpoint during the Mission and Vision session, it still has a huge impact on me. In the past week or so I've been thinking a lot more about the possibility of doing a traineeship this summer. So far I've been trying to get an internship near here or in the Twin Cities, but now my thoughts are changing. Especially this morning during my International Marketing class. The topic for the last two days has been on how different cultures affect the marketing mix, which for you non-marketing people is the product, place, price, and promotion. So my ideal thing would be to work in marketing in a foreign country. I guess this definately leads me more in the direction of a traineeship. The one major problem is that I don't have very much money. Hmm...difficult situation. I may need some persuading from other poeple. Let me know what ya'll think.

I've also been thinking lately that I really want to do something fun for Spring Break, but again I run into the money problem. Does anyone know any fun, yet inexpensive ideas for Spring Break? Alright, gotta go....ordering Chinese food with the roommates!
